State Cooperative Banks And Sugar Mills Striving To Synchronise For Successful Exports

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that in order to maintain smooth balance between demand and supply of sugar, sugar mills and Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank should coordinate and open a ‘no-lien’ account. During the opening of this account, the consent letter of the Central Government and the Sugar Commissioner should be given to the banks. Government will cooperate with sugar factories to promote and promote the exports of sugar.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister regarding various issues related to sugar mills. Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil, Rural Development Minister Pankaja Munde, Co-operative Minister Subhash Deshmukh, Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, Sadabhau Khot, Dilip Valse-Patil, Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil, Rajesh Tope, Hasan Mushrif, Babanrao Shinde, Chanddeep Narke, Rahul Kul, Abha Shukla, Vidyadhar Anaskar, Ajit Deshmukh, Avinash Mahagaonkar and officials were present.

Chief Minister Fadnavis said, based on this year’s rain, sugar mills should cooperate with the farmers. Those mills which are located away, proposals for transport subsidies to those mills are under government’s consideration.
