ChiniMandi Delhi, 30th September 2019: In a notification issued on 30th day of September 2019, the food ministry has allocated 21 LMT monthly sugar quota for October to each of 535 mills in India along with added incentivized quota to those mills who have completed their export targets under MIEQ Quota. The allocated quota of October 2019 is 1 LMT lower than the preceding year’s October month quota that stood at 22LMT.
The Government has announced 21 LMT Monthly Sugar Quota for Sale in October 2019 which is 7.69% higher quota compared to the last month’s quota of September 2019 which stood at 19.5 LMT. The statewise quota for October 2019 is as follows: Andhra Pradesh 31814 MT, Bihar 50902 MT, Chhatisgarh 85239 MT, Goa 360 MT, Gujarat 66906 MT, Haryana 47297 MT, Karnataka 240352 MT, Madhya Pradesh 23625 MT, Maharashtra 7977386 MT, Orissa 428 MT, Punjab 48935 MT, Rajasthan 935 MT, Tamil Nadu 39618 MT, Telangana 5919 MT, Uttar Pradesh 709673 MT, Uttarakhand 27334 MT.
