After a day of positive gains, India’s stock markets are back in the red. Nifty and Sensex have shed their gains and are seen in negative territory. The markets have dragged sugar stocks with it too.
Some notable sugar stocks that have lost in Friday trade recorded at 12:15 pm are- Kothari Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(down 4.82%), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd.(down 3.85%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd.(down 2.21%), Rana Sugars Ltd.(down 2.29%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(down 2.99%), Sakthi Sugars Ltd.(down 3.01%), Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 2.49%), Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd.(down 0.94%), Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd.(down 1.44%) and Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd.(down 1.54%) were among the top losers.
Within the Sugar sector, the top gainers were KM SUGAR (up 1.76%), E.I.D. PARRY (up 0.93%).
The Sensex was trading down 0.75% at 72,549.21 and Nifty was trading 0.89% down at 21,950.50.
