A Chaos erupted on National Highway-28 after a sugar-laden truck overturned on a hut near Musiri Sriram village in Muzaffarpur on January 14. Truck drivers Opender Mahato and Khalasi Rajkumar injured in the accident. Both have been admitted to Sakra Referral Hospital and are now recuperating. Local cops were also alerted about this incident.
However, the mishap turned into a bizarre incident after scores of locals allegedly looted sugar from the mangled truck, according to report of Bhaskar.com.
Truck driver Opender Mahato said, “The vehicle was en route to Surajgarha from Gopalganj to deliver the sugar when this accident took place.”
After an incident, it is unearthed that a bike is dabbed under the truck, which belongs to Sanjay Chaudhary of the local area.
Following the incident, crowd gathered on the spot and rumours spread among people that the bike rider is under the truck. Sakra police are further investigating the incident.
