Roorkee, Uttarakhand: Iqbalpur sugar mill has transferred the amount to Ganna Shahkari Samiti for the February cane payment of sugarcane farmers. The officials said that the money will be transferred to the bank accounts of the sugarcane farmers within the next two days.
Farmers claim that due to the slow speed in cane payment, they were facing a financial crisis. Release of payment will give respite to the cane growers.
