Doiwala: Doiwala sugar mill has received Rs 33 crore from the state government to clear the pending cane dues of farmers, reports Live Hindustan.
This amount will be used to clear the cane dues of farmers from January 26 to March 8, 2023. Earlier the mill had received Rs 47.97 crore to clear cane dues of farmers that sent their cane till January 25.
DP Singh, resident director of the sugar mill, said that the mill has received the amount from the government and he thanked the state government for the same. The amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of the cane farmers, he said.
