Puranpur, Uttar Pradesh: Workers associated with the Kisan Sahkari Sugar Mill staged demonstrations outside the mill premises for the pending salaries. Workers have not received payments for the last four months.
According to the media report, workers claim they have not been paid for the last four months. Sugar mill management says that they are facing financial crunch but efforts will be made to pay salaries as soon as the sugar is sold.
