Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh: Sugar mills in the district have cleared the cane arrears of around Rs 82.21 crore to the cane farmers. Sugarcane Minister Suresh Rana on Tuesday held an online board review meeting on cane payment. He directed the sugar mills to clear the pending cane arrears immediately.
In a meeting convened at Saharanpur, three district cane officers and other government officials were present. District cane officer Dr. R D Dwivedi said that the sugar mills from the district have cleared the cane arrears of around Rs 82.21 crore.
