Budaun, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane crushing is set to begin in Budaun next month, but purchase centers for sugar mills have not yet been determined, reported Live Hindustan.
In the absence of a decision on the purchase centers, sugar mills are preparing to purchase sugarcane from the old centers. Meanwhile, ff the purchase centers are determined, mills will purchase sugarcane from the designated centers.
Sugar mills have completed preparations for sugarcane crushing and maintenance work has also been completed. They are now completing some unfinished tasks.
In addition, mills have informed the sugarcane department of their tentative crushing dates. Bisouli’s Yadu Sugar Mill has plans to start crushing on November 5, while the Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill Shekhupur is preparing to start crushing on November 20.
