Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh: Sugar mills in Muzaffarnagar have been asked to complete the maintenance and repair work of the sugar mills to ensure that they start cane crushing operations by the third week of October for the crushing season 2021-22.
Joint Cane Commissioner Vivesh Kanojiya, who is also nodal officer for Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur and Shamali, has visited the mills in Khatauli and Mansurpur in the Muzaffarnagar district and reviewed the preparation for starting the crushing season.
He has asked the concerned authorities associated with the sugar mills to ensure that the sugarcane crushing season starts in time.
