Gonda, Uttar Pradesh: Mizapur sugar mill has decided to increase sugarcane crushing capacity for the upcoming season. The mill will increase crushing capacity from 32,000 quintal to 40,000 quintal which will benefit cane growers.
According to the news report published in Jagran.com, the mill has also decided to set up a distillery plant that will generate employment in the region and will help in increasing the income of the cane farmers.
The capacity of the new plant will be 350 kilolitres. The mills in the district are producing 40 lakh litre ethanol and once this distillery starts operating, the ethanol capacity of the district will increase to 62 lakh litre per year.
The media report further stated that Mankapur sugar mill in the district is also planning to increase the crushing capacity.
