Bijnor: All the sugar mills in the district are busy crushing cane as the season is in its final phase. The sugarcane farmers are worried as they fear that the mills may close operations before harvesting cane grown in their fields.
According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, district sugarcane officer Yashpal Singh has said that the sugar mills will close operations only after crushing all the cane grown in the fields. It is expected that the sugar mills may continue operations till May 20.
