The wholesale sugar market settled quiet in the national capital today on scattered buying support amid adequate stocks.
Marketmen said, ample stocks on increased arrivals from mills, after yesterday’s rise of Rs 75 per quintal, along with need base buying by stockists and bulk consumers such as soft-drink and ice-cream makers managed to hold sweetener’s prices at overnight levels.

Sugar retail markets – Rs 36-42 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,550-3,660, S-30 Rs 3,540-3,650.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,300-3,420, S-30 Rs 3,290-3,410.
