Instructions have been issued by Commissioner, Cane & Sugar Shri Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy for physical verification of the balance stocks for the financial year 2019-20 under the provisions of Financial Handbook (Vol-5 Part-1) to bring better office management and transparency in the Cane Development Department.
Giving detailed information in this regard, Cane Commissioner said, that under the provisions of the financial handbook, physical verification of stocks is mandatory for every financial year. Under which the responsibility of verification officer has been assigned to all the Divisional officers for physical verification of the balance stocks as per stock registers, tree registers, vehicle registers etc. for the financial year 2019-20 in the Cane development department. All officers will submit the verification report to headquarter by 05 June 2020.
Shri Bhoosreddy also informed that all the verifying authorities has been instructed to complete the physical verification work within the stipulated period by conducting a surprise inspection of the stock and stock registers of the schemes to ensure that all the information in the stock registers is complete. During the verification period, the employees and officers of the office will not be allowed for leave as far as possible , as this may affect the verification work.
It will be the responsibility of the controlling officer appointed for the verification work to complete the verification work within the prescribed period. The instructions have been issued to the officers deployed as controller to ensure that all the officers and their division complete the verification work within stipulated time and send the survey report detailing the shortcomings found during verification. They will also ensure to fix the responsibility of employees about the shortcomings came into the light during verification and will mention in their report submitted to headquarter.
