Bareilly: Oswal sugar mill has concluded cane crushing season on Wednesday after crushing 42 lakh quintal cane, reports Live Hindustan.
The mill has crushed 3 lakh quintals of sugarcane less this season compared to last season.
Last year the mill had crushed 45 lakh quintals of sugarcane. Mill has so far cleared cane dues of farmers of their produce procured till December end.
B N Mishra, GM of the mill, said that the mill completed the crushing season on Wednesday and cleared the cane dues of farmers till December end. The mill will clear remaining cane dues once it sells the available sugar in the market, he said.
