Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh): The Sugarcane department is ensuring that the sugar mills commence the crushing season on time, leading to smooth operations.
Around six sugar mills are expected to commence crushing by the end of this month, while two other mills are likely to begin operations in the first week of November. The department has requested the mills to confirm their start dates for crushing.
As per news report published in Amar Ujala, according to the Sugarcane Department, six sugar mills in Khatauli, Mansurpur, Tikaula, Khaikheri, Morana, and Bhaisana are expected to commence crushing in the last week of October, while the Rohana Kalan and Titavi mills are likely to start crushing in the first week of November. Sanjay Sisodia, the District Cane Officer, has stated that every effort is being made to ensure that the new crushing season starts on time.
