Hingoli: Sugarcane farmers raised the demand for pending FRP during the special general meeting of the Tokai Cooperative Sugar Mill, according to agrowon.
Angry farmers circled the president and other dignitaries of the sugar mill demanding payment of pending cane dues. They pacified after the president of the mill Advt. Shivaji Jadhav gave them assurance in writing about clearing cane dues at the earliest.
The meeting was called to hike the cane crushing capacity of the mill from 1250 tonnes to 2500 tonnes.
