Morna, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers from the region want the Morna sugar mill to start cane crushing from October 15. Following the pressure of the farmers, the mill administration has increased its speed of repair and maintenance work.
Farmers claim that the area under the sugar mill increased and the capacity of sugarcane crushing of the mill remains the same which might delay in covering all the sugarcane grown in the region for crushing.
The mill administration said that the efforts are being taken to ensure that the mill starts operations on time.
