Rishikesh, Uttarakhand: Doiwala sugar mill has paid cane arrears around Rs 21.15 crore to the sugarcane farmers. The money has been transferred to the Ganna Samiti. Soon the amount would be deposited in the bank accounts of cane growers.
According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, Manmohan Singh Rawat, executive director of Doiwala Sugar Mill, said that the entire payment of Rs 21,14,25,722 of the last crushing season has been cleared.
The money will be deposited in farmers bank accounts soon.”
It will come as big relief to cane farmers as they claimed they were suffering from the financial crisis.
