Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh: Farmers in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh are protesting for the change of their purchase centers. The farmers are demanding that their purchase centers be allocated to other sugar mills instead of the Bilai Sugar Mill, reported Amar Ujala.
The protest is being organised by the Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan. The union’s district president, Vinod Kumar Bittu, said that the farmers’ demands are being ignored, but they will not end the protest until their purchase centers are allocated to other mills.
