Saharanpur: Sugarcane farmers in Uttar Pradesh are disappointed over pending cane arrears. They have given a deadline of July 25 to sugar mill to clear cane arrears.
Over pending sugarcane arrears Bhartiya Kisan Union organised the meeting to discuss further course of action. District President of the Union, Thakur Ajab Singh, said Kisan sugar mill should clear cane dues before July 25 and if they fail to do so we will stage a demonstration.
He said before the commencement of the season, mill should repair all machines so cane growers will not face crushing problem in the upcoming season.
