Amroha, Uttar Pradesh: The BKU (Asli) officials submitted a memorandum to District Sugarcane Officer Hemendra Pratap Singh regarding various problems of sugarcane of farmers.
Meanwhile, BKU District President Chaudhary Mahavir Singh said that sugar mills have not commenced operations yet, therefore mills should start the operations soon.
He asked sugar mills to clear pending cane dues and also demanded to raise sugarcane price upto Rs 450 per quintal.
