The Sugarcane Department is actively preparing for the upcoming season and continues to conduct village-level surveys and record demonstrations across Uttar Pradesh.
According to the department, the final phase of village-level surveys and record demonstrations is underway, and farmers are urged to resolve any objections promptly. So far, surveys and demonstrations have been completed in 20,483 villages.
The department is also continuing its campaign to clean up data to ensure smooth and uninterrupted sugarcane supply. Although the new crushing season for sugar mills is still a few months away, sugarcane crushing in local jaggery units has already begun.
