Hamburg: As per reports from Reuters, European Traders said that Syria plans to procure 25,000 tonnes of raw sugar, prompting Syrian state agency to issue international tender for the import of sweetner.
The tender specifies a deadline of June 21 for interested parties to submit their price offers. Once the order is confirmed or a letter of credit is established for the purchase, the shipment is anticipated to arrive within 70 days. Bidders are required to submit their price offers in euros, reflecting the currency preference for the transaction.
