Hamburg: Syria has initiated a process to purchase 25,000 tonnes of raw sugar and the Syrian state agency has issued an international tender for the same, said European traders on Monday, reports Reuters.
As per the tender, the last date to submit the price offer is August 23.
According to the media report, shipment is sought 70 days after order confirmation or a letter of credit being opened on the purchase. Price offers must be submitted in euros.
