Tarangini Distilleries will be setting up a grain-based 120 KLPD ethanol plant at Gahanpalli in the Ganjam district of Odisha, reports Projects Today.
The plant would be set up on 17.74 acres of land and will also generate 3 MW of power.
The plant will get 480 CMD freshwater from the Baghua dam reservoir. The power requirement of 2.6 MW would be met by the in-house power plant.
The company received environmental clearance on the project from the ministry of environment, forest and climate change (MoEF&CC) on February 8, 2023.
The company is likely to commence the project by July 2023.
