Nizamabad: A meeting of farmers is scheduled to take place on January 4 at Yedapally Mandal Headquarters to discuss the reopening of the Nizam Sugar Factory. The meeting, organized by Bodhan MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy, will be held at the Sarayu Function Hall. Farmers will have the opportunity to share their views on sugarcane cultivation during the session.
The meeting aims to address the urgent need to boost sugarcane production. Discussions will be held on improving farming practices in districts including Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Jagtial, Karimnagar, and Nirmal. The idea is to have a consistent supply of sugarcane to the Nizam Sugar Factory.
After taking opinions from farmers, Sudarshan Reddy has decided to present the case for the early reopening of Nizam Sugar Factory at Bodhan, Metpally and Medak with the state government.
