Hyderabad: As Trident Sugar Industries is not in the position to take up crushing this year, State Finance Minister T Harish Rao has asked Sangareddy district officials to make alternative arrangements for sugarcane crushing. He has asked the officials to take action against the Trident Company under Revenue Recovery Act for failing to clear dues.
He held meetings with the representatives of Trident, Ganapati and Magi sugar companies at Sangareddy Collector office in presence of the sugarcane farmers.
He asked Zaheerabad area’s cane growers not to worry, as they will tie up with Ganapathi Sugar Industries and Magy Sugar industries to take up the crushing.
