Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has emphasised on ethanol production in the state. The Hindu reported that he said there is a need to utilise rice for producing ethanol.
Stating that the green energy projects will help generate employment CM said that promoting these industries will also enhance the state’s energy security.
Many states across the country are taking steps to increase the ethanol production in order to reduce the crude oil import dependency and make green environment.
