Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: Tikaula sugar mill from Mawana will start operations from October 29 for season 2019-20. The mill is in the last phase of preparations.
Thousands of sugarcane farmers from 41 villages are associated with the sugar mill.
The mill has set up the centres to weigh cane and collect the sugarcane from farmers. All the cane collection centres would be set up by October 27 and will be ready for operations.
The officials of the sugar mill stated that the mill is ready for cane crushing and will start operations from October 27.
