Ramkola, Uttar Pradesh: Yashraj Singh, the General Manager of Triveni sugar mill located in Ramkola, stated on Tuesday that a total of Rs. 12 crores 64 lakhs has been paid for all the sugarcane purchased until April 22nd, reported Amar Ujala.
This amount has been transferred to the farmers’ bank accounts. He mentioned that the sugar mill had commenced crushing operations on November 9th. By April 29th, a total of 86 lakh 86 thousand quintals of sugarcane had been crushed. Payment for all the sugarcane has been made to the farmers by April 22nd. Farmers will benefit from the cultivation of early sugarcane varieties. During this period, both the factory manager, Manvendra Rai, and the sugarcane manager, Satish Baliyan, were present.
