Ramkola: Triveni Sugar Mill transferred ₹13.80 crore to the bank accounts of farmers for sugarcane purchases made during the crushing season from January 30 to February 5, reported Amar Ujala.
Yashraj Singh, the Chief Executive Officer of the mill, emphasized caution for farmers during the transaction process with intermediaries and urged them to directly supply sugarcane to the mill.
Singh mentioned that Triveni Sugar Mill commenced its crushing season on November 9 and has successfully processed 49,60,100 quintals of sugarcane by February 12. The payments have been promptly credited to the farmers’ accounts. Throughout this period, Factory Manager Manvendra Rai and Cane Manager Satish Baliyan have been overseeing operations at the mill.
