Deoband: Triveni Sugar Mill has disbursed Rs 26 crore to the respective sugarcane committees for the sugarcane purchased by March 11, reported Amar Ujala.
Unit head Pushkar Mishra stated that payments for sugarcane prices have been made within the stipulated timeframe consistently since the commencement of the crushing season. This has spared farmers from encountering financial crises in their daily activities. Mishra further mentioned that farmers who possess more sugarcane than mentioned on their receipt will undergo a survey, following which additional receipts will be issued in their calendars. Farmers are advised to cultivate advanced sugarcane varieties, 15023 and 0118.
