Udupi: A heavy truck loaded with sugar overturned on the Mallikatte-Kundapur National Highway on Friday, July 5. The truck, traveling from Solapur to Kerala, collided with another vehicle while trying to avoid an oncoming heavy vehicle. Fortunately, the driver escaped unharmed.
Gangolli police and highway patrol officers quickly arrived at the scene to manage the situation. The accident caused temporary traffic disruptions at the Mullikatte highway junction, a known accident-prone area.
