Ukrainian sugar producers reached a new milestone in 2024, exporting 746,300 tonnes of sugar to international markets. According to the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine, the total value of these exports was UAH 419 million (Ukrtsukor). The association also announced the top five sugar producers in the 2024 season out of the 29 factories that were operational during this period.
According to the association, Radekhivskyi Sugar topped the list with 31% of sugar production in the country. Astarta Agricultural Holding followed it with a 21% market share, and Ukrprominvest-Agro took third with 14%. Teofipol Sugar Plant and Aspik Group both shared the same quota: 6%.
All these sugar mills produced 1.8 million tonnes of sugar in the 2024 season, which ended on January 21.
