Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch the AgriSURE Fund and Krishi Nivesh Portal tomorrow at PUSA, New Delhi. During the event, the Minister will also present the AIF Excellence Awards to the top-performing banks and states in various categories, recognizing their efforts and achievements. Union Ministers of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Bhagirath Choudhary and Ram Nath Thakur, will also attend the ceremony.
The Award Ceremony aims to motivate other banks to improve their performance, thereby supporting the overall success of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) scheme. Representatives from various states and banks will be present at the event.
Launched in 2020, the AIF scheme focuses on creating post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets. To promote the AIF scheme and acknowledge the contributions of different banks and states, Excellence Awards are given to encourage collective achievements, promote excellence, and inspire future performance under the AIF program.
