Roorkee, Uttarakhand: Uttam Sugar mill has cleared the Rs 11 crore cane dues of the previous season 2019-20. The mill administration has handed over the cheque to Ganna Samiti. Soon, the amount will be deposited to the farmers’ bank account.
According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, the amount includes the bills of the farmers that have sent the cane from November 7 to November 22. The sugar mill administration has said that the mill is constantly making efforts to ensure that farmers are paid on time.
