Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh: The crushing season at Bajaj sugar mill, Itai Maida began auspiciously on Tuesday with a ceremony that included rituals. Officials of the sugar mill conducted a puja and worshiped the plough and harrow, honoring the farmers with gifts, reported Amar Ujala.
On Monday, a recitation of the Shri Ramcharitmanas took place at the sugar mill. Following this, Rakesh Yadav, the Unit Head, along with other officials, performed a havan and puja amidst Vedic mantras.
Sanjeev Sharma, the General Manager of Sugarcane, assured farmers of uninterrupted sugarcane supply by establishing a 24-hour operational gate control room. He urged farmers to provide clean, fresh, unadulterated sugarcane.
