Skills Development Minister Jayant Chaudhary has written to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding expanding the crushing capacity of the Ganga Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill.
According to post on X by Bharat Samachar, in a letter written to CM Yogi, dated July 4, he stated that he was forwarding a letter addressed to him by Shri Chandan Chauhan, Member of Parliament from the Bijnor Lok Sabha constituency, dated June 3, 2024.
In his letter, the minister states that he mentions the longstanding demand for the expansion of ‘The Ganga Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill Ltd., Morna,’ located in the Mirapur assembly constituency of Muzaffarnagar district. He also refers to the government’s announcement made in the assembly on December 16, 2021, regarding this matter, and requests an increase in the mill’s daily crushing capacity and the establishment of an adequate sugar storage system.
Minister Chaudhary further states “I earnestly request you to consider this matter seriously and initiate appropriate action at the earliest”.
