Najibabad, Uttar Pradesh: The issue of sugar mill expansion and various problems faced by farmers echoed in the state assembly as Najibabad MLA Tasleem Ahmad highlighted key concerns of his constituency. Speaking after the Governor’s address, Ahmed brought attention to several issues including farmer-related challenges, reported Amar Ujala.
He pointed out that despite Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s announcement about sugar mill expansion, no progress has been made. “It has been years since the promise was made, yet the expansion has not started. Farmers are still waiting for the benefits they were assured,” Ahmed said.
He also raised concerns about farmers’ incomes not increasing as expected. “The government had promised better earnings for farmers, but they continue to struggle,” he added.
