Budaun, Uttar Pradesh: The Shekhupur sugar mill will start cane crushing activities from November 18. The mill administration has set a target of crushing more sugarcane than the previous season.
According to the news report published in Jagran.com, Rajiv Rastogi, General manager of the sugar mill said that the mill has crushed 13.97 lakh tonne sugarcane during the 2019-20 season. In the previous season, the sugar recovery rate was 8.88 per cent, and in the current season, we aim recovery at 9 per cent.
