Uttar Pradesh: Steps will be taken to restart closed sugar mill in Ballia

Pahsa: Babbun Singh Raghuvanshi, the newly elected Vice-Chairman of the Rasra sugar mill in Ballia district, stated that restarting the only sugar mill in the area, which has been closed for decades, is his primary goal, reportedc Live Hindustan.

He announced his plans to meet with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the same.

Speaking at a welcome ceremony at the residence of Ratanpura village head Jai Kishore Gupta on Sunday, Raghuvanshi assured sugarcane farmers that he would always be ready to address any issues related to the sugar mill. He expressed gratitude to the workers for their support during his election.

The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including elected director Bachcha Singh from the Ratanpura area, District General Secretary Ramashray Maurya, and many other members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), such as Vinod Kumar Gutt, Amit Maurya, Dayashankar Srivastava (commonly known as Dippu), Vinod Kumar Singh, Dr. Siddharth, and Ashok Singh.
