Bahsuma: Tikaula and Mawana sugar mills have started the sugarcane survey as a part of the preparation for the next crushing season.
This year the mills have made several changes in the survey of the fields keeping in view the coronavirus pandemic. The declaration of the sugarcane farmers will be filled online into the system with the help of supervisors. The survey is expected to be completed by June 30.
The majority of sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh have closed the crushing operations and very few are still operating. Many mills have started the preparations for the upcoming sugar season.
