Bijnor: Village-wise sugarcane satta (survey) will commence across the district from July 20th. During this gram-wise display, the sugarcane committee and sugar mill employees will present a 63-column display to farmers, including the survey details. If there are any discrepancies in the sugarcane survey, land records, etc., for any farmer, they will be resolved on the spot, reports Amar Ujala.
Preparation for the upcoming sugarcane crushing season is underway. In preparation for the upcoming sugarcane crushing season, sugar mills and the sugarcane department are working together. After the sugarcane survey is completed, sugarcane inspectors and sugar mill employees will visit villages to conduct gram-wise satta (display). This time, the employees will conduct the display in 63 columns.
According to the department, employees will present detailed village-wise and farmer-wise data, including sugarcane plant surveys, land records, plot divisions, land-related amendments, mobile numbers, Aadhaar numbers, supply modes, supply points, basic quotas, and total sugarcane area.
The department is urging farmers to participate in and review the demonstrations. After the presentations, employees will obtain the farmers’ signatures.
According to the sugarcane department, the survey demonstrations will be conducted village-wise. However, farmers will be informed about the schedule for their respective villages a day or two in advance through phone messages and other means.
District Cane Officer P.N. Singh emphasized that the village-wise sugarcane survey demonstrations will begin on July 20. Farmers should attend these demonstrations to thoroughly review their sugarcane surveys, slips, Aadhaar numbers, mobile numbers, and other details. Any discrepancies should be addressed and resolved immediately to avoid future issues.
