Roorkee, Uttarakhand: Expecting bumper sugarcane production, sugar mills are likely to commence cane crushing early in the upcoming season.
The sugar mills have already started the repair and maintenance work in the sugar mills to ensure cane crushing commence on expected time.
Last year, the crushing season started in the month of November.
