Rudrapur, Uttarakhand: District Magistrate and Managing Director of Uttarakhand Sugars, Udayraj Singh has asked the sugar mills to complete the repair and maintenance work in time to ensure that the mills start crushing operations in time, reported Live Hindustan.
He was speaking at a review meeting organized at the auditorium in the district collectorate. It was presided over by the DM to deliberate on the onset of the crushing season for the cooperative and public sector sugar mills of the year 2024-25.

He called for immediate reporting to the headquarters and necessary actions to evict unauthorized residents. Singh emphasized that all repairs and maintenance work at the mills must be completed on time, and equipment trials should be finished by the first week of November.
