Despite adverse weather conditions, farmers are hurriedly planting sugarcane in their fields. Doiwala Sugar Mill performed well in the crushing session by non-stop crushing, but due to the scarcity of sugarcane from the Haridwar region, the mill is forced to shut down almost a month earlier in this crushing session.
Most farmers reserve some sugarcane for seed after supplying sugarcane to the sugar mill. After proper sunlight and preparing the field, they harvest the remaining sugarcane in the fields and supply it to the mill. This time, a second notice of mill closure was issued a month ago at the sugar mill. It is noteworthy that the last crushing session ended on April 15th, while this time two notices were issued at the beginning of March.
