Luxar: Sugarcane department has initiated the sugarcane survey process that will help in getting an idea about the cane production for the next season. This time the survey will be conducted online using GPS technology, reports Live Hindustan.
The officials and the employees involved in the sugarcane survey have been trained for using this technology.
There are three sugar mills in the district namely Luxor, Libberheri and Iqbalpur. The survey of cane grown in the district has begun with the process being inaugurated by assistant sugarcane commissioner Shailendra Singh.
