Sitarganj, Uttarakhand: Sugarcane minister Swami Yatishwaranand said that the revival of the closed sugar mill will benefit the lakhs of sugarcane farmers from Sitarganj, Nanakmatta and Khatima area. He said that the mill would be run on the PPP model.
According to the news report published in Amarujala.com, on Thursday, Yatishwaranand and MP Ajay Bhatt along with Sitarganj MLA Saurabh Bahuguna and Khatima MLA Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the sugar mill. The sugarcane minister said that the tender process would be completed by June 30 and technical and financial bids would be opened on July 1.
We are taking all the possible steps to revive the closed sugar mill in the state and will soon make it operational, he said.
