Kashipur, Uttarakhand: Sugarcane farmers based in Jaspur shared their grievances and problems they are facing during interaction with the sugarcane commissioner. Farmers were happy that for the first time they were getting an opportunity to share their grievances with a high-level officer in person.
According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, sugarcane commissioner Hansa Dat Pandey met the farmers at a programme organised by a sugar mill at Muraliwala on Friday and discussed with them the issues related to sugarcane farming.
He urged farmers to go for organic farming. Also, Pandey directed officials to resolve the farmers’ issue.
